Air Playit

Air Playit is a tool that you can use to access all of your computer's multimedia files from a portable device such as your cell phone or tablet.

For it to work properly, you need to install two programs: a server on your comptuer that will always be turned on and will ask you which files you'd like to share. The second program is the client for the portable device that will let you access these files via streaming.

The program will give you the option to create several password protected access points that you can then assign to each user for accessing a certain type of content. This is particularly useful for family-owned computers.

Air Playit lets you listen to music and watch videos on your cell phone that are stored on your computer. This is exceptionally useful!
